No you're wrong..most clubs without super rich owners tend to not alienate fans and piss off their paying customers
When did I mention anything to do with that? I was talking about the player trading, nothing more nothing less! Your trying argue with a point I didn't even make!
Forgive me if it’s already been said, but I’m catching up here, and five pages from the end of the thread. I agree with what you say in this post, the only flaw I can see is, if 25k started attending again and the cash was rolling in , do you believe it’d be spent on team strengthening or somehow misappropriated? I know what I think.
I think more would go on team strengthening and the youth system too. The Allams aren’t crooks, they’re a lot of things but not crooks.
My reply was to argue that most clubs don’t have to sell at every opportunity because they ave other means of income..ie...crowds
No, they do not sell at every opportunity, but do so when they can, or more importantly, when they have to. Crowd income alone does not pay the bills. That has always been the way for lower league clubs. Lower league??? Yep, we have done real well out of it. OK for money, but!!!
I think they’d make a judgement call between taking out as much as possible, and keeping things ticking over so they get the loan interest. ...I couldn’t see any team strengthening overall
