So, reading that, they wanted the obligation removed which would make sense in terms of making sure Madrox don't owe anyone money. It also means, however, that if they just bought Madrox, there wouldn't be a £9m amount owing to the club. Way I see it, if there was, the first £9m they invest would effectively be a gift as it would be paying back the loan. This way if they inject cash into the club they can do it in the form of a loan, potentially enabling them to get it back (like most other owners do). I'd be amazed if they'd ask for that and then buy using FPP Sunderland, because then they'd lose out (as they wouldn't automatically be due the outstanding monies). I mean, they could do a work around in terms of the fee they pay, but buying Madrox seems a lot cleaner.
Was the plan last year not the FPP were a purchasing vehicle to buy madrox? Like if you look at fpp sunderland its owned 100% by the fpp company set up in america. So if the deal happens as suggested it would be 20% sartori 6% his FiL and 74% fpp sunderland. Which means if it is fuhrman for now he would own all fpp sunderland but in future would allow others to join him at fpp sunderland without changing the shares and madrox. Ive just checked madrox and its not actually owned my donald its owned by sjd holdings so id imagine using something like fpp sunderland is how a deal would likely work.
But but but there is absolutely nothing happening at the club, nothing from nobody anywhere, so everybody stop being the slightest bit optimistic because nothing at all is happening
