Although the bid is expected to be turned down, White himself has just rejected terms for a third time to have his contract renewed. The Seagulls are desperate for 22yo to sign a new 4 or 5 year. This would more or less double his worth. However, if the South Coast club prized asset was to reach the final year of his contract, his price tag would go significantly down. Freiburg’s Robin Koch is next on Bielsa's hit list, once the inevitable word comes back from Brighton. The 19yo Glaswegian was signed in the January transfer window from Motherwell where he racked up 42 appearances and scored seven goals. Although he got himself injured in the very first minute of his debut, he was able to show enough talent upon his return in June to attract the likes of Newcastle United, Everton and Crystal Palace Scott is very highly thought of at Hull, with Grant McCann describing him as 'a real gem'. Good morning, At least the Ben White saga will finish one way or another very soon. I just hope if it's rejected we haven't left it too late to get Koch. The fixtures are only five minutes away but according to twitter we have Liverpool first up. Always nice to get an easy first game. The home shirt is alright and pretty much as expected. It's the away/third kits that usually divide opinion more. The Kent move is a weird one. It seems most Leeds fans are underwhelmed by it but most Rangers fans don't want to lose him.
Morning all.... Bielsa has put all his eggs in one basket with the pursuit of White. It’s become blatantly obvious he wants to kick off life in the PL with the same squad or starting 11 that was the back bone of last season. No urgency has been placed on a new striker, even if we agreed terms with one today by the time they arrive and start training they’ll be two weeks behind the rest and we all know what that means. I read elsewhere that Cabral has tested positive for COVID19 so that’s another delay. No... we need to get used to the idea that Bamford is going to remain (or at the least start the season as) the number one striker. I still trust Bielsa but I have a nasty feeling he might go from hero to villain very quickly. Away to Liverpool first game confirmed, bet that will be moved for Sky followed by Fulham at home then Sheffield United away
Morning all Liverpool it is then = baptism of fire. Good game to start off with now we see how good Bielsa/the team is If Bielsa has signed a one year contract I have to admit to being somewhat underwhelmed I at least expected 2 years after all this time.

Morning all. If this bid for White is turned down then it needs to be a case of thanks for the memories and best of luck in your future endeavours. Time to move on. The new kit is a good Leeds United home kit. People who are saying they are underwhelmed, what exactly did they expect? We play in plain white. Liverpool 1st game, no problem. Bielsa clearly likes Kent so I hope we get him. Looking at the signings we've made to me it is starting to look like Bamford will continue starting just for his work rate. Bielsa will then be looking to Costa, Roberts, Harrison Kent/Wilson, Klich and Pablo to weigh in with more goals.
