So since i deleted social media, bar this site, and facebook (which i only keep due to messenger). I opted for super fast fibre thing, which gave me more tv channels also...

I've just retuned the things, **** me, i have 212 channels ffs...212 ffs, That's not even including the netflix and you tube stuff. Plus i don't even subscribe to Sky or anything, so some of you lot must have a whole lot more......

    So a few questions..

How much tv do you watch?

Do you have set favourite channels (is this possible)?

What kind of TV do you watch the most (obviously not including piskie)

    Are all these channels overkill?

Rarely watch terrestrial channels now as most of the stuff on there is utter gash. Mainly Netflix, Amazon prime and YouTube on the firestick.

Nah, i'm more into nature docs and wartime things..

Watched a good one last night about Hitlers rise, and how so much had happened before they invaded Poland in Sep 39.

It left me wondering just who was maddest and most evil during that whole era...Hitler was the frontman, but had some nasty ****s under him.

There will be many a time you will flick through those 212 channels and think "fcking hell, I had better viewing when there were only 5". I kid you not, more often than not there is fck all on. It's the state of TV in the modern era. A choice of either repeats or utter guff including mostly "reality" pish.

National Geographic, Yesterday and History are fcking excellent for the wartime stuff. Try and catch the the World At War series (recently redone in colour and always seems to be repeated on one of those channels) with Laurence Olivier narrating. 20 episodes but fcking excellent.

If you like nature programmes Eden and Nat Geog is good for that also.

But one very underrated channel mate is BBC4. It's hit a bit of a low imo over the last 2 months BUT that won't last long and it's generally very good and has some excellent documentaries on a daily basis. I rate it highly.

If you like tipping point and the property brothers, you need to be all over Watch. It’s wall to wall.

Mine is WW2 including the backstory which you mentioned earlier about the 1920's but it goes all the way to WW1. To think Hitler could've been stopped when he went to prison and yet history is changed on the head of a pin at moments like this.

TV for Sport and News (mainly SkyNews) or any documentaries such as the Syria and Venezuela ones I highlighted on here recently. I thought they had great coverage during the Hong Kong protests. Other than that, read the local papers online.

Youtube for all my music videos, and I generally like going through anything guitar lesson related. Other than that, any language related videos, courses.

Sometimes I like scrolling through any recent science online articles, generally with the Mars landings and exploration of the Universe. Did you know that the Moon is being pushed away from the Earth at 1.6 inches per year, and our rotation is slowing.

Looking at various holiday destinations online.

Edit; forgot to add I enjoyed the programme where Michael Palin made a documnetary of his visit to North Korea.
