Embarassing behaviour...pot shotting at the current manager because you’re in love with the previous one. but that’s what the Spurs board has become...a safe haven so long as you’ve got your nose firmly wedged up Poch’s ****ing backside
Your avatar is literally a potshot at our current chairman so you're in no position to say what is or isn't "embarrassing" - especially after calling several of the posters "Levy apologists" the other day
Don’t think Ben Foster is on a free though, could be wrong though. I think we underestimate how competitive these footballers are. Joe Hart was once an elite GK and has many caps for England. Yes he’s lost form but a final challenge to redeem himself would surely appeal to someone in his position. The expectation is for him to come in and work his socks off to demonstrate the attitude and leadership a senior player with his experience should have.
The thing that amuses and baffles me in equal measure about being linked with Hart is that for years there's been fans saying we need to sign somebody who's won things, and now that we're linked with Hart - or, a few months ago, when Lovren and Smalling were linked with us - apparently they're the wrong players who've won something and we should steer clear Obviously we should be looking at St Etienne's backup keeper who's really, really good on FIFA instead, because that won't cause issues with our HG numbers or anything...
I'd hope that Hart wouldn't need to be used often, assuming that he signs. Vorm played one game last season and he shouldn't have been used in that one, frankly. A key FA Cup match and we use our third choice keeper who hasn't played for about 18 months and didn't have a pre-season? Stupid.
If I thought Jose was going to utilise Gazza and Hart in equal measure to navigate the EL and League Cup morasses up to October, then great. But meanwhile, back on planet Earth ...
There’s fans all over social media crying on behalf of Daniel Levy because of the wage he’s offered Hart unbelievable stuff...what has become of some Spurs fans If even Levy is happy with it then it’s ok we won’t go bust
Got a bad injury at a poor time. Shame he couldn’t make it back with us but this is a good opportunity for him and I wouldn’t be surprised to see him back in the PL sometime in the future. Hopefully puts us in a strong position if we move for Eze in the next couple of years as well.
One of our players who has played with Hart, told me that he works his nuts off in every training session and makes world class saves all day long. He also said that during a game he is quiet for a while and then bawls something out which has the same effect on the defenders in front of him as if someone had jokingly jumped out from behind a doorway in front of them. In other words he startles them rather than his real intention.
Spurs fans are obsessed with the money side of the game without even realising it. I don’t think there is any other fanbase like it anywhere else
Tbh some just wanna moan. Last summer some were moaning that we were not spending enough even though that was bollocks. Trouble is, everyone's an expert. I can not stand Hart and do not know anything re Hojbjerg but if they are who Maureen wants then it has got to be a good thing that they are in very quickly and that those we do not want are being sold/released early in the window. Some simply like to moan imo...
We've already seen Mourinho's influence with keepers talking to their players. Hopefully they'll sort that out in training, though I'm not sure how often they'll get the chance to see it happen in a proper game.
Under ENIC it’s been about money and has gone on for so long that unfortunately some of the fans have started to see number crunching as a pivotal part of the game...more so than actual trophies. The low balling, the net spends...these have become on a par to trophies for some Not everyone but enough to cause a cultural affect on our club we’ve forgotten why football is played and why we started watching the game
