Aye, to be fair it's not something I'd done before, but me dad's getting no younger and I enjoy spending time with him. Some of my best memories with him have been going to England games. I'd rather go for some pints, have some crack and watch a live match with him then sit in the house when he's down. Half time was canny as well, went for a drink and some mag started chatting on to he so I enjoyed saying how all the players looked **** and I actually envied the Sunderland side. How I didn't get rumbled is beyond me
I've done that plenty of times mate, he's been to more Sunderland games than mag ones in recent years! He's 73 now, when we went to France 16 he collapsed before the Wales game (thankfully hasn't had any repeats and seemed to be okay afterwards) so I'm just making the most of having him around while he's here. When he's down I'll take him to Sunderland matches if we're playing, if he's down on a random midweek when they're playing and we aren't I'll take him to watch his side and hope they lose! When he goes to our games he celebrates our goals and everything. Not as enthusiastically as he does mag goals, but he married a Mackem, I ended up being a Sunderland fan, I moved to Sunderland when my lass who I met after a Sunderland game got pregnant and now he's got a grand bairn born in Sunderland, so he doesn't have any hatred for us, one of those who would genuinely like to see both clubs do well. England games are the best though, we can go and enjoy the prematch stuff then really want the same side to win
Great night out that was from the nervous pre match pints in the blandford to getting off at seaburn station. Remember it like it was yesterday. Happy days...oh and on the plus side they did run into that invisible barrier on the half way line
Lost track of things recently. Is that numbskull still outside the Premier League HQ? Is he still on his own or did the other 19,999 turn up as he prophesised?
Tyler? His last "tweet" was outside 10 Downing Street wanting ansarz from Boris Johnson. Unfortunately Boris was in N.Ireland at the time. Before that he went to the Houses of Parliament wanting ansarz from MP's. Unforunately Parliament was in recession. Prior to that he was outside PL hq waiting of his 20,000 mates turning up to join him on the Friday. 4 turned up.
Imagine the laughs we'd miss out on if we had neighbours like Fulham ... ... the Mags are relentlessly hilarious and deranged, I love it.
Just imagine the dream team of Chopra as owner, Shearer manager, Barton first team coach ... ... and Mickey Quinn as neighbourhood horse welfare
How has Chopra been roped into this Singapore deal? Shearer? Yes! Get the fans onside. Chopra? I certainly wouldnt trust him with any amount of dosh.
Nah, am hoping Ashley stays but does a Short and turns the tap off. That will give the knackers summat to pìss an whinge about.
Talking of Malcolm McDonald. Always got him mixed up as a kid. One acted like a woman and was idolised by thousands of ****tahs. And the other was Stanley Baxter.
This woman needs to be reprimanded by her party. Brexit, corona virus and exam scandal ... ... but she's still going on about Thu Toon
As blatant an effort to ‘pinch cheap votes’ as you’ll ever see. And a thorough waste of party time and a salary.
Have you seen them on various media defending the Saudis man? It’s sickening, they were calling that journalist that was hacked to bits a terrorist on the mag page on this site. I’ve pulled them about gay/womens rights on twitter and they normally either turn on me or use “well other countries are just as bad” I knew they were thick and desperate but this has taken them to a whole new level. Vile
If I was in their position and we had a take over from the Saudis go south I'd actually be pleased. Don't get me wrong, the dollars would be great but the stench that comes from them is too much for me like. You can't just go round chopping up journalists because they criticise you. Although be a handy way of dealing with the Sun.
