Valia's dream was short lived. Not sure about the tactics of sitting last in Heavy ground but she just looked Sllloooowww. That's why I often prefer to take a tiny interest at huge odds ante-post for a better race and hopefully get a run on the day sitting on decent odds, rather than bet on the day of another race at paltry prices. Better losing a little than going in heavy at 11/10 when the horse is still unproven. Valia had beaten today's winner Wonderful Tonight readily last time and perhaps the jockey on Valia felt they would pick her up in the same easy fashion today but it didn't pan out like that. William Haggas was bullish about Born With Pride running well in the soft today but she could do no better than 5th place, Just a disappointing filly in general I feel. Never mind Born With Pride, I think I once saw a movie called Porn With Bride, that also ended up with someone ****ed. Domino Darling is due out for Haggas at Windsor on Monday and they begin her season in a modest Class 5 Novice race. Today's winner Wonderful Tonight was 3rd to Domino Darling in the race where Golden Wand drew clear with the Haggas filly and went into plenty notebooks. Golden Wand was no factor in the Oaks and then chased home Franconia next time and gave the 1/3 Fav more of a fright than her backers would have expected. Domino Darling will need to be fairly quickly worked up to the higher levels to salvage something from the season and good luck to her. Born With Pride has not set the bar very high.
Well done bumper king shocking day of betting on the horses but really enjoyed watching the Dauphiné instead!
He was a nice bet with pending weather and loves the track . Escapability well out run his odds for a little ew return . It looks like the new season could be nice

Goso says the QE11 is his primary target, subject to how he comes out of todays race. Clearly didn't enjoy the conditions but tough enough to get the job done. Been with this lad from the beginning, in fact I was there at the conception. Did well on him today - that's two quid that Hills won't be getting back soon
The really class horses win when things are not necessarily in their favour dont they. I think he will scare everything off over here now.
