The Queen doesn't own the "royal parks". They are owned by the Crown estates. As is most of her houses and land and the foreshore around these islands. As with most of her fùcked up existence she is simply a figurehead, a nodding dog for Parliament to wheel out when pomp and circumstance dictates.

The Crown estates manage these holdings on behalf of the state, not the government. The state is...well..us, the people. So we actually own the "royal parks" and Buck House and everything else Mrs Windsor has in her "monarchy" portfolio.

Such has been the case since her mental great great great grammpa relinquished control way back when.

That's not to say she hasn't any personal wealth. In fact, she's one of the richest women in the world. But still we the state give her and her dysfunctional brood free money every year as percentage of said crown estates. 25% I think it is. They did this a few years back when they abolished the civil list so the stupid people of Grand Britania would think they were no longer giving rich cùnts free money but alas, we are.

But hey, they bring touristy folks into the country so that's good eh.
