Also from memory he couldn't organise a defence which is why we went up in 2nd place and not as champions as his attacking prowess warranted.... did the same with Fulham and was found out, alas.
Well it is normal to want a pay rise upon achieving promotion and I guess Ivic would do the same in similar circumstances.
Thanks Mark, yes I've paid my £20 Re the questionnaire I was a bit concerned about the word ballot, I had expected us to be allowed to watch approx 1 in 3 matches on rotation but ballot suggests you could be very unlucky and never get a ticket or very lucky and see all the matches.
I presume they will have to make sure everyone who wants to go gets a chance. Of course now we are only in the Championship a few STHs might not fancy watching us playing Blackburn , Barnsley etc! I wouldn't be surprise if the numbers drop in terms of tickets sold. And a few games will be mid week so there will be travel problems for long distance supporters.

I presume if we don't get promoted or come close to it Vlad won't get a contract extension. It doesn't strike me as long term thinking - rather we have to go up or else. Hopefully Ivic can be that man and is allowed to manage with a settled squad and not having to look over his shoulders every day. Tell Giraldi he isn't part of the coaching team so should not be at training or in the dressing room each game ! Hopefully any player sale will be made sooner rather than later otherwise we might be left short in term of replacements if key do players move on.
Yes, I’ve heard 13 midweek games in the season. I’ve paid my £20 but at around 95 miles, midweek games aren’t great for me. Season just gone there was virtually no home midweek games as far as I can remember.
We have yet to start a clear out of our senior players but organising lots of loans etc for the younger ones. It might be my imagination but Bournemouth appear to be well under way with a mass clearout of senior players.
Watford Ladies becoming Watford Women... https://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/18656546.watford-fc-female-team-undergoes-name-change/
New manager looking very smart for his first appearance at the training ground. https://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/18655686.new-watford-boss-arrives-club-first-full-day/
Apparently in the army they were known as ''The officers and their ladies'', ''the NCO's and their wives'' and the non ranks and their women Just a glimpse into the class consciousness of the British Army So now the Watford Ladies don't have to be so 'Ladylike'
There's been a trend for lots of teams to make that change, and I don't particularly understand why. I kind of like the traditional and almost archaic use of ladies, the same as in the ladies' and gentlemen's singles championships at Wimbledon.
What is your luck like with the lottery ? https://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/s...old-lotteries-decide-fans-can-attend-matches/
Does seem like he has to get promoted or it's good bye again. What if we make a slow start due to a lot of changes in the squad ? He will needs time to develop his ideas and team selection. Has to get that chance in a tough competive league.
Watford have received a bye for the Carabao Cup first round. The season will start on the weekend of September 12.
