If anything it's his positioning that scares the hell out of me, because he can't give away penalties when he's playing as a right winger - but the player having to cover for him certainly can
Sounds like Amos will join QPR very soon. Fee is less than a £1m but there’s been add-ons/ clauses inserted. Less than a £1m for a guy who performed pretty well in the Championship last season and will only get better with time seems a bit **** to be honest, even if there are extras involved.
Another one who got away perhaps, was very unlucky with his serious injury after his 1st team debut as he could have got a lot of game time that season and maybe he’d have settled. I don’t know that he tore up trees at QPR tbh, done well but not outstanding was my understanding of it. Obviously coming off the back of that injury didn’t help. Shame he couldn’t make it with us but definitely one to keep an eye on.
Bundesliga Rando Watch Bild report that we're looking at Mainz striker Robin Quaison The fact that he scored 13 in 32 last season, which is more than he scored in his previous three seasons at Mainz combined, has me questioning this one just a tad. More than anything else...well stop me if this sounds familiar: a Scandiwegian striker who can play as a CF but usually plays on the wing, has good strength and pace so can hold up the ball, and isn't an out-and-out scorer but is quite good at creating pockets of space for someone who is He sounds uncannily like a Swedish Josh King - but since the Norwegian Josh King (or, to give him his proper name, Josh King) would also help our HG numbers and is surely looking to leave Bournemouth, and it has to be said King is just 18 months older than Quaison...wouldn't it make more sense to just sign Josh King?
I doubt there will be much in it, to be honest: both have a year left on their contracts, and with Bournemouth going down King could well be pushing to leave It's also worth noting than King's agent seems relatively benign as most of their clients play for in the Norwegian, Danish or Swedish leagues (a hell of a lot of them for Molde, weirdly) while Quaison has the same agent as Modric, Matic and Vrsaljko as well as a bunch of Swedish and Serbian players scattered around Serie A, the Eredivisie and Bundesliga, which is another reason to be suspicious about us being linked with him
Atalanta RB Watch So Atalanta's first-choice RB has said he wants to leave and is looking for a new challenge ...no, I'm not talking about Timothy Castagne, I'm talking about Hans Hateboer Rather than get into the details, I'll just do a little head-to-head comparison Age Castagne: 24 Hateboer: 26 Goals/Assists in 2019-20 Castagne: 1 goal, 3 assists in 27 games Hateboer: 0 goals and 5 assists in 33 games International caps Castagne: 7 for Belgium Hateboer: 3 for Holland Time left on contract Castagne: 1 year Hateboer: 2 years Considering how both of them play in the RB/RW role that Aurier did last season, this...well it makes things interesting, doesn't it?
Maybe Maureen or the current financial situation or previous experience has persuaded Levy to get deals done quickly to raise money we need to buy players?
But it does free up space, saves wages and more importantly it is better than holding on for a little more and the deal falling through. That is an improvement for me.
So there’s a video on Twitter which I think was ripped from another media app (think TikTok but I don’t have that so unsure) of a guy and his kid sitting in a car outside the training ground. He’s wearing a Lucas Moura t-shirt and claims that he just saw Callum Wilson drive into the training ground. This is the best ITK I've ever seen in my life . @The Huddlefro this tops SCITK by an absolute mile!!!
Amos has had a lot of injury problems and was in and out of the QPR team last season. Letting him join them for a minimal fee but adding sell-on clauses is the most logical thing to do, in my opinion. That's especially true if we're looking to sign Eze from them and/or maintain a positive relationship with the club. More loans would make sense, given their position and location.

The odds on Joe Hart to us have been massively slashed. Good signing for a 3rd choice and he’s HG. Stupid move for him personally though if it happens. Seems like he’s just accepted defeat in his career and isn’t interested in being a 1st choice again.
