    The B.B.C complaining that an outdated dinosaur organisation that has no place in modern society is being funded by the people of this country by force .

    Only people that want to prop up either scam should pay a subscription, much like EUROPEAN UNION members.

    I doubt the Royal family are going to ask for billions to bail them out though like the EUROPEAN UNION are.

    They’re not hers, they’re ours, in everything but name. You never see Liz walking her Corgis in St James’ Park ffs.

    The upkeep of the Royal Parks is £36million p.a. The money comes mostly from lottery funding and charitable donations, with 35% coming direct from Government.

    The Queen owns the Royal Parks "we" the Royal we own yours and Corbyn's allotment, when you both die it will be handed to some third worlders and it will go to **** , much like London.

    Not the Royal parks though William will take ownership and maintain them .

    I'm of the same view as Pud, I would do away with the royals. I don't see why we the taxpayers should pay for their extravagant lifestyles and houses. No place in modern life for funding the already privileged.

    On the other hand I do have a lot of time for the Queen and Kate. The others, nope.
