Decent signing. Already 32, but still lots to offer imo which shows 30 isn't always the killer for players.
He is a decent signing, always remember in Jose's second stint when some players just weren't bothering and he was
I like Willian - he was the only one of the big players who came out of that season with any credit - in contrast to Hazard, the self-centred turd. However, at 32 I'm not sure he's worth the wage packet - higher than any of our players, apparently. We'll see, I suppose.
Never 'eard of 'im........... Barca v Bayern tonight.........who do we think? Both clubs have 5 EC/CL wins
Rumoured to be around £220K. But never mind those 55 staff Arsenal have just laid off. That last season with Maureen, Willian was the best player at Chelsea, however that was 5 years ago. Last couple of seasons he's been doing well but clearly not at the same level and that's mainly cause he's getting old. He's only going to get older and decline (sorry but its a fact), which means when he comes to that last year of his deal he'll be 35, probably not contributing as much and still being paid £220K. Just think Arsenals desperation has lead to some iffy deals. Ozil getting a long contract, £72m for Pepe, Willian getting a huge wage and yet messing about with renewing Aubameyang. Seems that Arsenal have no clear idea of how to get back.
I do wonder what the long term strategy is for arsenal and to some extent Chelsea, they seem intent on stocking up on attacking options, but both defenses are shaky as. I wonder do they see how we evolved, outscored everyone, but getting beat occasionally as a blue print for how to build? Even utd transfer policy seems scattergun. Youve got to wonder if these team employ scouts or just read the papers and go for the next big thing
Don't think much of either team tbh. Can't help but see City walk past Bayern, who defensively look awful despite winning 4-1
When will the call come from Barcelona to Pep to come and rebuild them....I’ve always believed that he would return there one day, when they were on their knees.....
