You’re probably right now I think about it. Chris Powell is definitely a good person to have in the set up, experienced and knowledgeable
There's some non-committal rumours about Jamie Bowden being loaned out, with vague promises of "clubs from the Championship and League One are interested in taking Bowden on loan"
Skriniar's name is popping up yet again, this time without an Ndombele being a unit of currency...even though a couple of weeks ago he said he wouldn't join us due to our lack of CL football Also, with all but one of Valencia's squad being put on the transfer list, it's rather ironic that this is the first time in seven years we're not being linked with Kondogbia...
I’d doubt that anyway tbh, Stones don’t seem a Jose type of CB. They’d be more than welcome to offer Foden though! Lol.
He’s already had four years to try and do that . He’ll probably have four more though knowing my luck.
Poch liked him, Mourinho likes him and apparently Pep does too Basic player but he could be useful in the right team as he’s neat and tidy
surely you bite City’s hand off if they offer £40m* for Winks, as most Spurs fans I know don’t rate him at all. *unless it’s player exchange as Jose would rather have cash to spend and certainly would not want Stones
Does Jose actually like him? He lost his spot for a run of games and only regained it when Sissoko got injured. Ndombele’s fitness issues has also meant he’s stayed in the side. It’s a case of him being the only option. With Hojbjerg in now I’d be surprised (and disappointed) if Winks was in the XI for league and important european games. Poch liked a lot of players that weren’t good enough either, it’s ultimately why he ended up getting the sack as he persisted with too many who were letting him down. And you’ve said it yourself, basic player.
There are two problems with it: 1) It's probably bullshit. 2) We'd basically be selling a squad place, as we've got virtually no club-grown players. Kane, Winks, Rose and, er... that's it, I think.
And we'd still be short. Club-grown, not homegrown. With Rose going too, we'd be short about three players, essentially.
Oh no, the Stattos are getting started... Rather than post all 13 tweets, I'll get to the meat please log in to view this image please log in to view this image Baumgartner is an attacking midfielder, so he's a great suggestion - and that's before mentioning the 13 goals they scored last season. Combined
I still think selling Winks would be a silly move, especially to Man City. Why we would continue strengthening them I don't know.
