Finished first season of Umbrella Academy, deffo not for me started of ok and then dived.Missus who like this sort of stuff scored it ,5/10.
Watching Perry Mason on Sky Atlantic, pretty good, 7/10. It shows him much younger, and not in a wheelchair like the old Raymond Burr version. Showing my age a bit there!
I watched it too. Some parts were really good, but also sometimes frustrating with the cliches. Could have done with cutting 5 minutes from each episode to tighten it up. I've started the second season and it seems better. At least give the first episode a go because the action scene at the start shows off the potential of the characters' powers nicely so it's the real payoff for the first season.
I assume you mean Millie Bobby Brown. She's not, really not. Born in Spain, lived on the South coast and then in America. She is a Liverpool fan however, think maybe her dad is from Liverpool or something.
Watched first three episodes of Umbrella Academy season 2,definitely better. Anybody watched The Forgotten Army ( Prime) true story about the Indians fighting with then against British army .No big names in it and it did have a tune that was repeated too often but it was the story I was interested in.6/10. (Currently reading a book about the Chindits )
Watching True Detective at the moment . 2 series each of 8 episodes. Up to episode 5 at present 7.5/10
Only 2 showing on Sky Atlantic at the moment. I shall have to put my detective's hat on and find the other one.
