BTW Ben Jacobs is merely blaming pif aswel as the premier league... He's also suggested that they haven't commented incase PIF come back to the table... Imo he's just making excuses for the premier league rather than it being at all encouraging.

I’m I have been thinking. And everyone who knows me knows this isn’t my usual mindset. So here goes. The silence we are hearing is probably a good thing. I mean a very good thing. I think it means that there are negotiations/talks that are taking place that are probably more important than hearsay crap. The call to arms from AS may have prompted the change in mood but the fact is why do that and not follow through with public comments UNLESS there is actual tangible movement happening. OK I’m going to say it and don’t you dare slate me but I actually think it’s going to go through. It might take some time. But I think it’s HAPPENING!

If the bid had been withdrawn officially we'd have heard about it and if the reports from earlier in this whole debacle are to be believed and the O&D tests were being overhauled as a result of PIF's bid then theres not a cat in hells chance they could come back to the table and pass. That being said it's even more unlikely that the PL have got their arses in gear and re-written said tests but you can bet your life if a fresh bid came in it would magically happen. The PL's arseholes will be twitching like **** and they will have every legal person on this to explore every possible likely outcome that would present itself to them should they fail it...and in reality every single one of them could and should happen...if it ruins them all the better. Take all the ****s down and let's see how quickly chelski and man city have to sell the 20-30 top class players they've hoovered up and loaned out. I firmly believe its checkmate for them but they probably haven't come to that conclusion yet cos they are so pig **** thick and inept. We just need to ride it out, play the waiting game and keep the pressure on. Ashley's silence in all this is just as loud as the PL's in my opinion. We'll have to put up with Bruce and the likes of ****ing Jeff Hendrick in the interim but the final outcome will have been well worth it.
