    no they wouldn't, we can pay up to 5.2 grand a week to 4 more players now (or any %ages of that +/-) because our surplus is 1.1m with an 18 man squad.

    That quite correct. There is not an individual salary cap.
    It is a club total salary cap.
    We CAN sign at least 4 players at a total of
    £1.1m annual wage if we want.

    Parky has reiterated and said now that they 2 signings for Friday were ‘stopped by the salary cap’.

    Was clearly the case anyway but they e confirmed that.

    How can the salary cap prevent this when legally it doesn't have a hope in hell of being accepted.

    As it stands, it is in place pending any challenge from the PFA.

    We are basically in limbo, hoping targets don’t end up signing elsewhere while we wait for news.

    Absolute bullshit as usual from the EFL

    Have they set a date for this to either go ahead for definite or revert back to no cap. I’ve not heard anything from the efl or pfa
