I hope it just goes through But if it doesn’t then I would love it, just love it if MA and/or PIF sued the PL into oblivion <iframe seamless="seamless" style="width: 100%; border: none; display: block; max-width: 595px; height: 460px;" src="https://getyarn.io/yarn-clip/embed/85faddab-3bce-4cbf-af0a-3332b1e38c83?autoplay=false"> </iframe>
It’s all so ridiculous. I’ve no idea how anyone will follow football with any semblance of passion from here. Mike had it locked in a basement, but the PL have just hit it with a shovel.
Ashley suing the PL? Isn't that like me suing my boss but staying under his employment? He would make my life hell. Would a time to sue be after he sells the club. Saudis could sue at any time mind.
We are all seriously wasting our time in believing. MA is here to stay. I stand by this. I honestly believe it. No takeover. No future.
It was fun while it lasted weren't it, Newcastle is dead now lads, still haven't signed a player of note, still no cash, Steve Bruce. Follow a club with ambition
Or the PL were waiting on them to provide some more answers to a latest round of questions when PIF pulled out. Why it took so long to get to that point is another matter. Or the PL told PIF if they weren't able to provide more information they were going to fail it and PIF pulled out to save face. Or any number of other possible options. The amount of speculation going on on here is getting silly. The number of people speculating that the PL should still be carrying out the fit and proper test as it has not been officially withdrawn. How can they possibly continue this when PIF has publically stated they are withdrawing (one of the few parts of this whole affair we seem to have evidence for) meaning that the submission is based on information regarding owners/directors etc that is no longer correct?
So it appears that the only way the deal can be resurrected is if the PL give assurances that they will approve the deal. Which ofc they won’t because PIF withdrew publicly meaning the PL in theory don’t have a deal to approve. Even if the deal wasn’t officially withdrawn with the PL. That would mean that either the PL would have to approach PIF or the other way around. Not going to happen. So it leaves poor Ashley to either beg PIF to contact the PL. Or legal action. Which won’t do jack ****. So as I said yesterday. We are wasting our time.
