An allegation made by Khassoggi's family, UAE and the Americans.

She's linked to Hezbollah, Al Quaeda and ISIS. Just like Khassoggi was. MOSSAD were investigating Khassoggi's links to Hezbollah and Al Queda

I have faith in you pal. I have no faith in the PL. I have no faith in many things if I am honest.

It’s interesting how others (on here and also online) want to hammer home the ethics, humanity, death **** at our takeover. Yet turn a blind eye to their other business interests. Most of which the very same people own or use services that PIF in fact own.

Double standards. When the shoe fits.

That’s not true, but even if it was, it still doesn’t justify the fact that Geordies trolled her for writing to the PL about the Saudis. The woman’s bloke was chopped into chunks by them ffs. <laugh>

Agreed, making light (or worse) of that crime is abhorrent.

However that's not the issue - it's muddy water and Qatar have a very questionable role in all of this, strong links to her, so it's very much on Qatar for making the Khashoggi murder part of the takeover. Invariably trolls will troll, but it's despicable that Qatar used these tactics. Look at what's happening to them/Bein right now - more and more countries are banning their broadcast, their profits have dropped significantly recently too.

The human rights issue is hypocrisy at its finest.

There's no issue with human rights in any other investment they make in this country! So get real.

This is exactly it. Human rights has less than **** all to do with football. There are human rights issues all over the world - Putin/Ukraine, Assad/Syria, terrorism, Uganda, China/Hong Kong. Hasn't stopped rich ****s getting richer.

The obvious link was Qatar. BeIN met with Masters, Hoffman has Qatari links, and they pulled Cengiz out to protest about it. Utterly deplorable.

Just listened to the talksport interview with steve bloody wraith.

He really isn't the man to be doing these interviews.. He's as daft as a brush... He someone gets every single interview and manages to miss out bringing up anything even remotely thought provoking.... Quite why he used slave trading as an argument I'll never know?? He could've pointed to the funding of our universities and numerous other things that would've won that debate but instead he used something utterly ridiculous... Why not mention the reports that other clubs influenced the premier league?? Seriously the guys off his nut... He talks well, but he's brain dead.

In any other walk of life human rights abuse accusations have always been served but about half the population accept it and half wont even realise they are swallowing it. Its never affected them, ignorance is bliss. However once football is involved then human rights accusations are always going to stick in peoples throat. There will be people up and down the country who hadnt realised that Saudi Arabia's record regarding human rights were a concern until this takeover news broke. Football brings together people from all walks of life, it affects almost everyone. This takeover has raised a beacon for the average person (football supporter) to question Saudi Arabia's human rights abuses. 'They can have their finger in many a pie, havnt really noticed, but heaven forbid they can keep there hands off of our football!!!'
Its affected me. I was always aware that Saudi Arabia's human rights were iffy, but never really took an interest. Its not until this takeover that I have sat up and taken notice. I can imagine the Saudi's being quite surprised at the resistance folk have for this takeover, they have probably never come up against it before. Its because folk have a passion for football and dont have a passion for Starbucks or Shell or whichever business they have a stake in. After this they may come up with a little more resistance on all fronts, not just football.

I'm not buying that football is someone different. It's business.. This idea that it's ok for this country to pay for our children's education from blood money, but not OK to watch people kick a ball about that are getting it is ridiculous.

    That's my take

Human rights be f*cked, if you don't toe the line you deserve to be chopped up. I live in Melton Mowbray and apart from being famous for pork pies, Stilton cheese and home to top of the range tw@ts like myself, it's also where Pedigree Pet Foods ( owned by Mars ) is based. I know for a fact that 99% of canines prefer the dog food that is infused with the deliveries that come from Saudi Arabia every third Tuesday. This not only proves that the takeover is not going to happen but I shouldn't drink strong beer in the hot weather.
