BTW the Saudi ambassador married a girl from Northumberland... I don't know how much more clear I can be
I really hope this is true There's an easy answer to all this you know Mr Masters you ****ing bell end !!
mid the PL’s sole goal is to get as much money in as possible for the clubs then it could be set to fail miserably. Heads will roll...
It's abundantly clear that the PL is no longer fit for purpose as an organisation. Back in 1992 when the PL was set up it was probably a good idea, things have moved on (a lot) and times have changed since then. They are not a governing body they are a private organisation and nothing more than a PR and marketing machine. I hope they go to the ****ing wall over all of this so the more of this news that comes out the better for me like. Let the top 6 **** off to a super league but I hope the FA step in and make sure that they can never come back and that they are not eligible for domestic cup competitions either. I can't see it happening myself as it will be the death of the Europa and Champions League.
To be honest a super league would long term wise be the end of the teams in that league. It will become a rich person sport where the average fan not being able to go and watch their team week in week out.
I don’t think there will ever be a super European league. The top clubs may want it but I don’t think the fans will. It would as you say be a rich person thing and attendances would plummet. It’s ok(ish) where you have a small handful of fans going to away games the odd time in Europe as a special away day. But for the most it wouldn’t be financially viable. On the point of lost revenue. The Chinese market thing is a big deal. And it’s also a concern for us. Takeover or not it would be a hit on revenue. If we think a tv deal for SA is the answer then that puts the Qatar Bein deal in jeopardy. A 500m deal. So SA would have to pay serious levels of money to just balance out the hit. Will that happens?
Can’t really see how the pandemic prevented a search into whether or not someone has convictions or how much money they have. This pandemic is used far too much as an excuse. If reports are to be believed pif had given them all information, who knows. The point you made was has the PL commented before. I just made the point that they haven’t had a situation where they just haven’t made a decision before.
Have you read your own post? “Suggesting that the key stakeholders and commercial partners aren’t allowed an opinion and their views had no place being aired was abject nonsense. “
You should take your own advice love. As the entire post was about the baseless accusations of corruption, which seems to be based on them having an actual opinion. I made no mention of the FPP test. Sit down.
All of the accusations of corruption are in relation to the takeover bid and the fpp test. Have you been away somewhere for four months love?
The accusations seem to relate to people giving their opinion and nothing more. That’s the point ffs, it ain’t complicated.
If there's no corruption then you've got nothing to worry about. I'm sick and tired of people with their arguments from ignorance and personal incredulity. There's two sides to this... Let's see what happens
As far as 'official' information is concerned I am of the understanding of the following: Fit and proper test has gone to the Premier League Silence for months Premier League state that the bid has one or two problems. Saudis pull out. Now anything could be going on behind closed doors. Fans could have every reason to be pissed off with the Premier League and their underhand tactics. However I find it quite bizarre how a group of supporters can be pissed off over the fact that a 'corrupt organisation' have tried their hardest to prevent a takeover by an 'even more corrupt organisation.' The Premier League could end up losing their power to these Saudi's. It would be like inviting a bull into their nicely organised, money generating China shop. I wouldnt blame the Premier League personally.
It's really quite simple... It passed their test, so they refused to do anything. That's the issue and what's morally going on in Saudi isnt relevant Piracy however I can see the issue, but as far as we're aware that wasn't an issue either.. There's accusations that other clubs influenced the premier and confidentially being broken. This is why an investigation is being requested.. If there's nothing to hide what the problem??
premier league hasn’t said a thing at all mate. That’s the issue. The one or two problems are just paper speculation.
