We have it in writing from the people who actually made the bid. End of story really - well end of chapter in this long running saga. Sadly not because other ****ers who make **** happen the same way, have combined to exert their considerable influence to make sure it doesn't happen. Unfortunately they've been successful and the PIF have withdrawn.

Er I am not accusing you of being the one who is claiming that the bid hasn't been withdrawn. I don't know and can't be arsed to look back to see when someone started believing in unicorns. One thing I do know for certain is, the PIF withdrew their bid. They told us that.
Ah right, yeah I don't think its her fault. And if people are wondering why she is trying to keep it alive with her comments then I think they are beyond help. Everyone does realise her role in all this? It is to get rich. Can't knock her for that. Its very much in her interests to try and resurrect the withdrawn bid.
Very telling the lack of media coverage recently. If this was a big 6 club it would be front page news. Seems very much like the press either know something is coming and keeping their powder dry or they know nothing and are all tired of being proven wrong - either way the media silence doesn't make sense.
Probs cos it was leaked that they were waiting on a specific answer and then the Saudis withdrew. I dunno what else can be said.
If theres one thing the media have demonstrated the past few years is they certainly love to sit on a story, don't wanna be embarrassed... That was sarcasm.
They're being hounded by thousands of fans all over the world, Mps, priminister, councils etc etc to simply make a statement. There's a reason why they're refusing and it might be simply because they don't have to, but I find it hard to believe they couldn't just kill the entire issue with one simple statement.... Just not a good look... Makes them look suspicious if they don't..... Somethings jus not right about their silence...
