From what I read, his father in law is committed to Monaco. If it is Sartori it looks like he will need decent backers because according to Google search he hasn't got a pot to pìss in compared to Donald. And Donald is nee cash cow. What worries me is Sartori was touted as the financial clout yet virtually disappeared. Since all this kick off and Donald falling out of favour, is it just a shift of ownership to try and calm the waters ? It seems to mostly point at Sartori being the one since talk of no one from outside and no information leaking. Worse case scenario is a shift as a smokescreen and no real backers. If that is the case I can only hope the fook we get it right and gain promotion this season otherwise it will get ugly.
Nothing to say the father in law doesn’t get involved though, more and more cases of owners owning multiple sporting clubs nowadays. Not like we are going to be in direct competition with them anytime soon, he may see it as an investment, the value of the club is 7-10 times higher if we get back to Premier League at some point.
I think in the entire history of your clubs you've never played a competitive game against each other. It doesn't feel on the immediate cards. I doubt it would be an issue compared to some of the groups around.
No am not sayin he won't, just the way it read seemed to point to him focusing entirely on Monaco. However, if it is Sartori then hopefully as you say, he is at least one of the backers.
Aye, have to say I can’t see him getting involved to be honest, I don’t see the logic in tying in 2 clubs one is us and one is on the Côte d’Azur. That said, Moutinho signed for Wolves, and at least we have a coast here
Dunno, Rybolovlev also owns Cercle Brugge and while Brugge is certainly a more scenic city than Sunderland, SAFC must be more attractive as a sporting entity. The Pozzo family have owned Watford, Udinese, and Granada all at the same time and Luciano Gaucci had Perugia and Viterbese at the same time so I don't see why Dmitry can't get involved with us. Maybe he'll just be one of several investors with Sartori as the figurehead though.
Oh I agree, see my first post on it it’s more and more common for owners to have multiple clubs now, more ‘why hasn’t he step up already’. Could of course be linked to Sartori getting more involved but then how does that work if he’s a ****ing senator or some **** in Uruguay? We just have to ride it out, I’m all for a multiple club owner to be fair, it seems to work well for the most part.
Yeah, don't see how he can be heavily involved with SAFC and be a senator. Sartori rumours most likely are bollocks I think but I suppose make sense because of his other links to the football world. Would be happy if Rybolovlev did get involved but the longer it goes on, the more I think that the reality is that nothing at all is happening.
lets hope this is true https://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/sale-is-close-barnsey.1524486/page-279#post-32159137
