Is anyone starting to think Leeds are getting a bit too big for their boots? I'm getting the impression that they think that they only have to show a whiff of an interest in a player and the player will be begging for a transfer and their club will be under pressure sell for less than the player is worth. What is it 14 years outside of the Premier League and now they are back in the big time they think they have the pulling power of Man City or Liverpool?
I have a Leeds supporting mate who thinks any player not currently playing for one of the top 6 will be gagging to move to Leeds. And they will have their pick of any player linked with anyone else as Leeds are the bestest
Not sure if already been said but the other RB we have been linked with, Zeefuik, has joined Hertha. Weston McKinnie supposedly going there as well
So will every premier league team. They will attract no more than any other bottom half team unless they stump up extra cash. Unless the club is a sleeping giant (Leeds are too far gone for that) then it all comes down to money and career progression.
Hope this is true. Gunn is decent but it looks like Fraser is staying and we can't afford 3 keepers on big wages - lets cash in on 1 of them and then maybe we can get a good replacement for Hojbjerg rather than lose out to Hertha (again).
Well Hertha have been taken over and seem willing to throw money about, so if it comes to a bidding war I think we don’t stand much of a chance (like Zeefuik)
