No he hasn’t though. He merely consoled the crying masses and said he backed the idea of the PL giving some explanation of the time taken and the Saudis should explain why they legged it.
Along with 29 cross party MP's Stavely said if you want this back on you're going to have to go to the premier league We've done so Now she's saying it will help with the sale
Staveley has put 2 1/2 years into it and was getting a chunk of equity as her fee. Shocked to hear she was desperately trying to flog a dead horse. All she had to do was convince the actual potential major stakeholders not to withdraw, and she failed. Hey ho.
Yeah the best way of pressuring the PL into making a decision was to withdraw the bid, and remove the need for them to make one. ****ing genius.
"Cross" seriously? .. perhaps slightly irritated at being disturbed for something so pointless whilst at a birthday bash
can we have some evidence that the bid is still lodged. Even after the latest statement saying it wasn’t worthwhile investment opportunity
You’re completely deluded. As they demonstrably did. You’re conflating the idea that they could revive this bid at some point, with the ridiculous idea that despite their actual words, they didn’t actually withdraw. The reason you won’t accept the reality is that it completely wrecks the entire narrative that you’ve chosen to run with i.e. that their withdrawal was some form of pressuring tactic, when it actually removed the pressure on the PL to make a call. The only pressure on the PL now, is to clarify the time they took, which at some point they no doubt will, citing COVID, operation restart, due diligence, ensuring the protection of the brand and its crucial IP value.
