OK As we've seen with Newcastle these exclusivity clauses aren't what they always seem ... ... FPP can block any deal unless someone pays them back the cash to be able to start negotiations.
The test is a cracking day out on the lash. T20 is canny as well at Durham. Havent watched any today as I playing cricket myself - will watch the bbc highlights on iplayer later.
I feel much more connected to cricket. When Durham won the title they had a group of local lads in the team and that's normal in cricket. In football we get lulled into wanting some rich stranger to buy our club as a toy, filling it with quality foreign players and then saying how "our club" is doing well.
Alan Nixon saying on Twitter it's Sartori, he's looking for some backers from France. Something about a redistribution of shares.
No takeover, just more distractions engineered by Donald. Probably fed Barnes the misinformation. Shall we all whine and stamp our feet like bairns until the PM makes a statement. Works for the other lot.
It's a funny thing but I've always considered myself more fortunate than the owners. I live in these incredible places while they work endlessly to pay for them. This current place is much more low key than before, I'm 64 tbf and not at the top of my game. It's nice though and only occupied for a few months a year.
You wouldn't believe it. We have an English family here for a week, friends of the boss, and he's a North London sports lawyer. I've just had a chat and he's offered to swap a few stories tomorrow. He dealt with Short and Freddy Shepherd so I should get a few decent bits of info.
