if I were a Scudamore and was advising clubs like that I’d tell they to back the Saudi bid as the only outcome is more money swilling around the PL in general and likely higher revenues from the next PL rights issue.

I don’t want to be “reading between the lines” or “adding 2 + 2 = 5” anymore this is now past the “guessing games” or “no news is good news”. Simple question. Why after all this wouldbt the premier league just say " we were unhappy with x y or a and were trying to offer a solution, however as reported they withdrew.." Why?
