Sounds like they are trying to claim negligence. That involves establishing a duty of care that has been breached. Enjoyment and ambition aren't duties.
No. Is there not a duty of care towards the club and fans itself. From a commercial angle. What about the rules of competition. Some would say the PL have fixed things for the top clubs. Is that not negligent? You could argue that MA himself stands to lose millions as a result of the negligence.
How can he sue for damages, that relate to a company he has no equity in? Also, he does realise that directorships are all publicly accessible via companies house, no? Absolute clown shoes stuff.
Depends on who is suing and what they are suing for. Duty of care is wide. Public policy is a noticeable bar.
I can see a duty of care with regard to the Club but not the fans as the Club is a member of the PL but the fans are not. Competition law I’m not familiar with but I could see an argument able to be advanced on that aspect if restrictive practices exist but again by the Club and not the fans. You never know Mikey could set up a crowdfunding page to help cover the legal costs.
There is no legal claim until a decision is made... And they can't fail!! Otherwise they just would... This is the last time I'll try to get you to see sense. It's still happening
You could take legal action if no decision is made if there is an unreasonable delay in giving that decision and it is prejudicial.
If you like mate. Some bloke patently lying about his supposed credentials and sending a ‘legal’ letter that he’s penned himself and is nothing but emotive jarg, personal invective and some illogical & legally illiterate belief that he has a right to sue for damages, as he doesn’t like the fact that the Saudis have abandoned their takeover offer for NUFC.
