In my honest opinion I think we could’ve done a fair bit better than Hojbjerg. I don’t think he’s as good as some of the DMs we’ve had in the past (Parker/ Sandro/ Wanyama/ Dier). Having said that, he does have some solid characteristics and attributes that’ll definitely come in handy, comes across as a battler and a work horse, won possession the most of any player last season and his upbringing at Bayern has given him that strong mentality and decent leadership skills that a lot of Bayern players tend to have. For £15m I’d say it’s pretty good value and he does seem Jose’s 1st choice too so I’ve got faith that Jose knows exactly what he wants from him.
Ajax are being linked with a season long loan for Ryan Sessegnon. Probably bollocks, but that could be a great move for us, if we're not going to play him regularly this season.

Definitely looks like Zeki Celik is now our preferred RB target over Aarons. Telegraph saying we’re looking to sell Foyth and/ or Aurier to raise funds for his transfer.
sounds like someone who is keen, hungry and will be a Jose signing Doesn’t look like he’s a sulk or doesn’t think he’s better than he is. it’s about mentalities more than price tags We’ve all praised Hassenhutl...I’ve even heard him mooted as our next manager. Well he appointed Hojberg as captain more or less straight after he joined. Pep promoted him from the Bayern youth and played him out of position in his Bayern team that won the domestic cup. He was RB instead of DM. To me that suggests leadership qualities, playing for the team and graft and the ability to listen to the manager just what we need will it work out? I expect him to make his mark more efficiently than Ndombele has
Basic player but hopefully means the more talented players like Lo Celso and Ndombele (if he can sort himself out) will be able to get further up the pitch and be creative as he will be able to shield the defence As KWP is going the other way and the fee seems to be minimal, hopefully it has little impact on any other transfers as Spurs need to crack on and bring in 3-4 more
Gueye reportedly being available genuinely looks like a better choice, although it does beg the obvious question why PSG want to bin him off after a single season
Have made it clear that I think we made a BIG mistake in appointing Maureen but it is good that we have got his player...and quickly (if the weekend stuff is true). At the end of the season the Leicester Arsenal and toon games showed how he wants to play on the break and in those games we looked decent and the football was good...not great, but good. If he has identified players and the club are getting them then I ain't going to complain. If he gets his players maybe he'll prove me and others very wrong and I will happily accept Maureen making me look a mug!
Leon Bailey’s name has kept cropping up the past couple days. If we can shift Lamela and/ or Lucas I’d definitely take him but as of right now there’s bigger priorities to be spending dough on.
