Oodanata 7/2 Leopardstown 1.00 - made the running on her debut and several winners have came out from that race, this race has some nice prospects but she will be hard to peg back if taking it up again

Nickajack Cave 11/4 Leopardstown 3.00 - stepped up markedly form-wise when beating Twilight Payment over 1m 6f here lto and drops back to 12 f today which won't hold any fears and he should account for the JOB favourite Pondus cosily enough.

    Enjoy you day folks.

I was going to play Pretty Gorgeous today but I felt the drop to 7F might be against her. It panned out that way in the end, as the Aidan O'Brien trained Shale kicked and the Joseph O'Brien trained Lawman filly could not match the move. Pretty Gorgeous stayed on well but could not really land a blow. She remains a promising sort though and surely will be returned to the mile next time.

Shale was also dropping from a mile to 7F but seemed much more at home at the distance than the favourite. A Galileo filly, Shale has progressed well from race to race and was no doubt the price she was today because she had been 6th of 7 to Harrington's filly Oodnadatta and had more than 4 lengths to find from the debut effort. Oodnadatta had made all in that previous race but there was never a chance of that happening here, as 50/1 shot Finest set off like a scalded cat and was clearly sacrificed to make the pace for others. In theory it was Snowfall at 3/1 who was fancied to take advantage but she was only 4th and well beaten. Oodnadatta was very disappointing and simply looked too slow to get into it today, being beaten 7 and a half lengths in 5th.

Pretty Gorgeous could be the one to take from the race. She is a filly of more substance than the winner and back to a mile she may be a better prospect.

Was a shade unlucky to be caught in a pocket when they quickened.

In the 4.40 Bath Clem A was 4/1 second favourite in the betting forecast. Over on the ATR website the form tipster gave Clem A as second best and the Timeform preview gave Clem A as the third best pick.

Considering it was a Handicap race the Mark Johnston runner looked poor value at 4/7 Fav, especially with the stable on a low strike rate currently.

Overwrite could finish only 4th for Mark Johnston and Clem A, who was making his first start for his 4th trainer today, went on to win it.

Can anyone explain to me why Clem A was returned 33/1, when he opened at 11/2 with William Hill last night?

It reeks to me that a horse who had won 3 of his last 4 starts could go off double carpet in a Handicap Race

You are complaining that a drifter won and think it reeks? I’ve heard everything on here now.
