Seem to remember playing with John as a kid on Bilton playing fields, he was bloody good then aswell.

my uncle used to live in the same street as ken knighton (70's hull city player). james harper was looking at the flats above radio humberside last season where a mate of mine lives now. dont think harps took one there though. if a footballer moved into my street i would move out. our neighbourhood is quiet and friendly.

I've know John for many years, but I've never played with or against him, he hasn't kicked a ball since he stopped playing professionally(says he's knees have gone). Hello John if you're reading. (He pops on here from time to time) I've played against Leigh Palin several times, he's still impossible to get the ball off.

I once rented a house in Gloucester. Had very famous neighbours. A Mr & Mrs F. West. Lovely couple. They used to spend hours in the garden.
