ASide from the ****e banter- this is a good post. Fulham so far this season have been two completely different teams- one that is completely lackluster and would struggle in the conference, and another that has torn mancester city to pieces. I wonder which we will see on sunday; im confident it will be the latter. 2-1 fulham, goals from hangeland and dempsey.
Don't waste time trying to have a rational conversation with these QPR idiots. It's like having wrestling match with a pig. All you're going to do is get muddy, and the pig likes it.
What a twat. Can't remember if it was 2001 or 2002. Fulham were going up to the premiership and we were going down to the third tier. Their fans sang: 'we'll never play you again' (in their posh voices). Well, its been a while, but that time is now!
Sorry, I do find it quite funny that we're being referred to as glory hunters! Oop, there I go again!
Its not so funny when i have to explain it BUT.......i was under the assumption that you do tend to get a lot of Japanese tourists at your place....at least so it seems. At least my Fulham mate at work finds it funny Only a bit of banter matie, dont get too upset
I wouldn't call you 'glory hunters' supporting Fulham? I am just referring to you all coming out of the woodwork today when you really should be in Denmark as you team is in a Euro comp. But then again i remember the coach load of you not that long ago going to an away game.
What do you mean, coming out of the woodwork? If you hadn't realised, this thread is on our board as well - we've always been here, we just don't spend any time on other's boards
Nobody's upset, just a bit confused - I'm pretty sure all of London gets tourists from all over the world? Yep, great, we got that, but the question was why, my dear Watford?
He's been great in all the Europa games so far. It's a bit strange, him scoring, I'm not sure I know how to deal with it.
[QUOTE Yep, great, we got that, but the question was why, my dear Watford? [/QUOTE] Because, rightly or wrongly, Fulham are believed to have a disproportionate number of Asian tourists in the ground for their home games who generally won't be there again and want to take lots of nice pictures. It also goes some way to explaining your away followings.
This is a big game family wise for me. My brother is a Fulham fan (born in Fulham poor lad!) Good result tonight, great second goal by Johnson. As for Sunday, 2-0 win for the hoops, cant see any other result!
Sorry it's been too quiet - we've mostly been watching (or listening in my case) our team on another European Tour. A comfortable 2-0 win and not too much jet lag, so full strength on Sunday for the first time in many years. Looking forward to a good game and, I think, 3 points. Enjoy your trip to The Cottage!
Ok, gotcha. More wisdom borne of rival fans? Pass the salt... I'd pass comment on the content of your ground but I've had no need to step foot there for so long
