I might actually do a manager mode this year. I hated it for some reason on 11

 

I'm not doing career mode again. I haven't really done UT before, so i might try that out properly, and also loads of head to head matches

They've fixed player growth on FIFA so you should be better off with the young 'uns.

Nope, on Fifa 11 you just went to - My Fifa 11 > Team Management > Edit player

 

has anyone got to grips with the jockeying with the defender technique? I can do it in practice but when trying it in games they skip past me like nobody's business.

 

No I dont really see what it does anyway, I prefer to anticipate their runs myself. Plus if I try to jockey they just pass to someone else.

 

I don't understand peoples problems with the new defending system, it feels the same to me, apart from you need to think more about your stand tackles, which i like.

 

this ^^^ i heard you can change it back to fifa11 controls on the game but is that cheating and is there any point?

 

If anything pressing "A" to contain the dribbler is better option than jockeying.

 

I don't like how all you have to do is hold A to contain people, you should have to guide your player yourself, i did it in Fifa 11.

I don't press the A button to contain, i just follow the player, it's not hard.

 

Does anyone think headers should be harder to score?

All you have to do is press B. I think you should have to put power and direction on yourself.

 

Pressing the "A" button tugs their shirt/slows them down a bit if you're chasing them. (EDIT: or is that "B"?)

 

I dont find them that easy, I often tap shoot and they fly over.
