I did this for a mental health charity recently 25 press ups for 25 days. Don’t mind admitting that my press ups were **** at the start. By the end they were boss though, so I decided to carry on doing them. Good way to get into a decent routine when you set a challenge.
Take a look at couch to 5k, it’s designed to get you from getting off ya arse on the couch and eventually to running 5k will take about 6 weeks to hot your target. My kids have done it and now can run 10k in a regular basis. All you will need is a phone and headphones and motivation
This ^ I know loads of people who started running using this app. They are flying now and most have lost a **** load of weight and feel better for it.
This went well. Comm offering a challenge of human endurance to all and sundry, Sucky straight in with a creaser, pretending he still has alpha authority on anybody and he’s not a damp used tampon, then Ern offering a bath-off, with Radox Silk Relax. Let’s just organise a Royal Rumble.
Just done 1000 sit ups in 36mins. obviously I cant post pics or proof of any kind, just that I done them, bet no one can beat that.
You under estimate how hard it can be to motivate yourself. Can take years for people to get their head around it once they lose the fire
Did the 5k to 10k during 'lockdown' and quite enjoyed it. Did manage 10k but haven't managed to get out as much since things went back to almost normal. Back to staying away a couple of nights a week with work so run on those nights, 3-4 miles. I plan to keep it up, happy to run that distance two or three times a week. Need to get my **** together in other areas though so would join in a press up's or sit up's thing.
You've done twice as many as me...But i always struggle to get motivated in the morning..I will do the rest tonight, as i'm wide awake then.
