Striker will cost the bulk of the budget as I cant see a loan to buy option being accepted due to Big Kev. I expect a loan to buy deal for the keeper unless we get the Austrian keeper I mentioned yesterday. We need at least one CB and Martinez Quarto is deffo being sold but being hawked to the highest bidder which will probably be Milan, but Foyth is still favourite and Marco Sensai from Feyernoord is a real possibility and then we only need a LB and a No10......... simples
From reports we're after a striker, someone who can challenge Pablo, a CB, LB and GK if we get rid of Kiko. For me I’d take Watkins for 18m but would he come to us over competition? Eze or Swift as I know Swift can be bought on the cheap. CB hopefully Ben White. Knowing what Bielsa is like with his squad and how well Struijk did in the last few games I think he’ll be happy with just White or another CB mentioned if White isn’t possible. Not sure about the LB and GK will only be needed if Kiko goes. The thing is if we get Watkins, White and Eze there isn’t really much of a budget left for big signings for a LB or GK so I think we’ll need to be realistic. I can see Stevens, Bogusz, Davis, McCalmont and Gotts all going out on loan.

I flicked in and out of the match. I usually get bored watching any game for the full 90 mins if Leeds Utd aren't playing. The bits I saw weren't great. I don't like Brentford because of the stuff that's gone on over the seasons between us. But there was one incident that I thought if he did that under Bielsa's watch he'd be taken off. It was the lad we seem to be interested in with the blond in his hair. Fulham were one up and he lost a ball and then just walked rather than try and bust a gut to get the ball back. Those players are great when everything is going for them, but show their true colours when losing. Maybe I'm nit picking or being over critical.
Benrahma... Funny enough, on talk sport this morning they were saying how he has been made to look ordinary in the last few games and they thought he was the least likely to succeed and be snapped up in the PL
Agreed. Watched the whole game as had a chunky bet on Fulham at 6/4...wouldn't touch Benramha or Watkins at the prices quoted. Both very good Championship players but then so is Pontus and he can stay there as well. We need better and they're definitely out there. Given the financial situation of all clubs worldwide at the moment we should play hard ball on transfer fees/wages and get value for our hard earned PL cash.
Remember thinking the same when we played Hull about the striker they sold for big money, only did anything when the ball was played to his feet, never chased back
Just seen an interesting quote from Monaco’s Johnathan Panzo. He was doing a magazine article when the player gets 10 questions and every player doing it gets the same question. Answer Ian Carlo Poveda.... think we also need to remember that we also have Poveda able to play wide or No10 too, and from what I saw of Benrahma last night Poveda...........
