Just looked it up on UEFAs site three one off ties played behind closed doors first match will on 17th Sept, with next 2 scheduled for 24th Sept and 1st October, so not starting before the league season but we will need to hit the ground running.

Looked at the list of teams and their are potentially a lot of very long journeys if we get drawn away! Assuming thats how it works . However 3 Scottish, 1 Welsh and Couple of Irish sides are also possibilities.

Lol bring it on.

So long as we don’t Spursy them up these could prove quite useful going into the league season. A mix of first team and youth in each game will provide decent minutes for all. I know we usually play higher quality sides in friendlies these days before the season starts but I think competitive matches are generally more beneficial as you know it’s must win more so than just about getting minutes. I’m 99% confident Jose will take Europa seriously too, something none of our managers have done since Martin Jol.

Okay, since nobody has figured out the entire list, here we go...

Kesla FK - Azerbaijan
Torshavn - Faroes
Neftchi Baku - Azerbaijan
Kaysar Kyzylorda - Kazakhstan
Ordabasy Shymkent - Kazakhstan
Sutjeska Niksic - Montenegro
FK Riteriai - Lithuania
FH Hafnarfjardar - Iceland
Santa Coloma - Andorra
Shakhtior Saligorsk - Belarus
Kalju Nomme - Estonia
Backa Topola - Serbia
Vojvodina Novi Sad - Serbia
OFI Heraklion - Cyprus

He actually spent quite a lot. A lot of expensive duds though.
That's the thing about Bournemouth: they maintained their image as "little Bournemouth" when their rise from the bottom tier coincided with a Russian worth an estimated £100m started bankrolling the club

At least when Fulham did the exact same thing with Mo Fayed bankrolling the club the media didn't pretend otherwise

Looks more like the World Cup than the EUFA Cup. Aren't some of those clubs "Asian?"

Yes and no. It's quite hard for UEFA to be picky when Israel and Eastern Russian sides count.
If Khabarovsk counts as Europe, then anything goes. It's further East than China and Korea.

Talk of Conte leaving Inter, sounds like tension between him and the board. Didn’t see that coming, they only finished a point off of Juve, he seemed to be building a good thing there.

They were topping the league in December, but hit a real slump in March to the point they dropped to fourth for a brief period before a post-restart run of form dragging them back to second

True, Juve were like The Terminator in the second half of the season especially after beating Inter 2-0 in February, but Inter's collapse made it that little bit easier for them to get across the line

The 2nd legs of the Champions League round of 16 are this weekend.
Juventus v Lyon and Man City v Real Madrid are both on Friday at 8pm.
Seems like a wasted opportunity. Should have had the Turin match start at 6pm.
No idea why the Saturday matches are both at 8pm, either. Stupid.

Say City get to the final, how long between the final of the CL and start of the PL?

The final is on the 23rd of this month. The Premier League kicks of on September 12th. It's less than 3 weeks.
Man Utd and Wolves have a similar issue in the Europa. They are both as likely to proceed in the tournament as City. The final of that is 21st.

Say that they don't

Will the pundits ever mention the fact we could manage it yet they still can't?

AFAIK, Spurs are the quickest English club by participation to
reach the final of the CL (4 seasons of participation) .

Citeh OTOH are on season 8.

The CL : money cannot buy you a place in the final.
