Not actually a very good idea - burning wet or green wood that doesn't combust properly produces 3, 4 - benzapyrene in the smoke which is highly carcinogenic. Although as long as you were wearing full safety gear and breathing apparatus you should be fine.

Apparently it was deemed to be the cause of the high rate of scrotal cancer in chimney sweeps so you might wish to get your testicles checked out.

Toon fans are not coping well with the takeover collapse

    tbh

I’m finding their different coping mechanisms quite interesting and highly amusing

Its all good. Going to keep our board ticking over until the new season!

And the good news is it gives Chaos less time to post on here.

Only green wood I burn is on my log burner. My mate does a bit of fencing on the side. Keeps me topped up with loads of timber offcuts :emoticon-0148-yes:

Occasionally I burn charcoal drizzled in ghee in a metal bowl in a chicken dish and cover for the final 10 minutes or so.

No, the one in the garden. Chimnea I guess, but it does burn logs so I call it a log burner.

That’s alright then, as you never burn wet wood on an indoor log burner, as it ****s it up and can cause chimney fires .
