In UK Company law, a country cannot be a director. It has to be an individual over the age of 16. Quite why the PL would ask PIF to contravene UK law by appointing Saudi as director.....

Grounds to fail it, PIF wouldn’t comply, PL refuse to budge.

Except if the request came from the PL they are asking PIF to break the law and so their test is unlawful.

Explains their reticence. Encouraging a breach of company law can be a serious offence.

so what you are saying is, that because PIF didn’t take the test, the PL should fail them....

meaning what exactly, they have walked away. Blame them for not getting their house in order and being screwed over by the bungling PL <laugh>

The PL cannot fail PIF if they have asked them to break the law. PIF could report it and sue them.

Then in that case the current structure didbt meet the criteria of the test and they should have failed it.

Why didn't they fail it? What was the other option?

so in summary, they couldn’t answer some simple questions on ownership.

but you told me the grand plans they had. That once they were set on it they wouldn’t budge.

they would only settle for the best(£250m over 3 years into club and infrastructure)

but walked away because it was takin gun a bit of time.

    right oh!

this is some ****ed up conspiracy ****

They have. They make reference to delays by the PL.

Also, if it isn't completely over then they are probably being careful as to what they say especially if they do press on with the application with the PL.

And it is only going to be rumours as the 3 involved Ashley, Consortium and PL haven't said much if anything hopefully because they are still trying to work out an acceptable deal/position for everyone to enable it to go through.

So they haven’t had their £17m back? Who has pocketed it, Keys and Gray?
