I guess it boils down to the question over whether the average fan would swap your wins over Chelsea and Man City in the cup for your losses to Man City and Chelsea in the league. You'd have finished level on points with Leicester in 6th (and above Tottenham) but have no trophy.

99% of football fans would choose the trophy, I guess there's always going to be that 1% who care more about finishing above their rivals (or pretend to do so to lessen the hurt). You're in Europe either way so i don't see the difference between 6th and 8th versus winning an actual trophy really compares.

 

This is what it boils down to, trophies

Fact is that both Arsenal and Spurs have been **** this season. And whilst we have been **** (by our standards) for the last 6 years we've still won 4 pots, in the same period that Spurs (by their own admission) have been at their best since ****ing Ghengis Khan was tearing up *****lia

and they've still won **** all.

 

Have spurs won anything since yesterday?

No matter how many times I read that earlier post of mine (I can see that, back then, I was called "In Ya Pop Partridge" so it was quite a while ago - Pixie's book marking system is very efficient, I see) - no matter how many times I read it, I cannot see that there is anything wrong with it.
