I think this relegation is an elaborate plan as they decided it was quicker to win silverware by dropping down to steamroller the Championship!
Trouble is atm I don't see that happening if all the players supposedly going leave and no sign a of manager for now given the season re-starts in 5 weeks but never know. We got promoted with 4 managers (not all sacked..) and a load of random (and very good ones) last time!
I am not sure whether this information has already been posted on the forum, but the local newspaper in Osasuna reported that Estupan's contract with Watford expires in 2024 (which means - if correct - that an unannounced contract extension was probably signed during the past year). https://amp.diariodenavarra.es/noti...&utm_source=Twitter&__twitter_impression=true Suarez has a contract with Watford until 2022 (as far as I am aware). He has been recalled by Watford and permission was refused for him to play for Zaragoza in the Segunda Division promotion play-offs (much to the annoyance of the Zaragoza owner). The play-offs have been delayed by some positive Covid-19 tests in the Zaragoza squad and Watford want Suarez to be ready for the start of the new season in the Championship.
I was going by this - http://www.wfc.net/players.htm - which may well be out of date. Looking through it, I notice that Marc Navarro is still on the books - unless that needs updating too. I wonder if he could be an option in the Championship?
Good to see Wilmot coming back... It may be that wr will keep some players to the January window too.. As time is short
