Yeah was just saying that to my pal. Worse places to watch boxing like. On for the next few Saturday's init, leading up to the White fight?
People have a go at him and his auld fella, but is it any wonder they’re multi millionaires? COVID means no fans, so where shall we stage the fights? Hang on, no need to hire a venue, stick the ring in the back ****ing garden. please log in to view this image
Yeah, he doesn’t **** about with horrible mismatches or stupid doomed-to-fail comebacks. Proper fights with good hype.
He doesn’t give a ****, and he’s learnt from the master in his old man. He’s done for boxing what his auld fella did for snooker back in the day, then darts. Clever fellas, and like them or loathe them, you can’t begrudge their success imo.
Yeah it's all a bit odd really, it's not even like he's controversial or anything. Think Piskie may be right that a lot of people just hate seeing success.
The stereotype of people from Essex is that they are supposed to be chavy louts. Taxi drivers and Buliders, rooted to their working class roots. Eddie Hearn is the classic working class lad made good. He's built that success himself with his old man and they've made a ton of dough out of it. I just think some folk can't live with that, so they hate on him instead.
You're thinking to much ffs.. It's **** all to do with Essex. People just get envious about others doing good.. It's not a ****ing Essex thing..It's nationwide.
I’ve just seen that his auld fella bought that place for £200k 30 years ago, when he first made some proper dosh. They’d come from a Council house.
