That's the point it's from a psychedelic playlist that's inspired by those type of bands from the 60's, there a big resurgence in the San Francisco's and California area of bands like that.

Allah Las are a great band. Not psychedelic but very much West coast Americana

Yes I included some bands from other parts of the US if I felt they fitted in with the overall sound or if they weren't strictly considered psychedelic but the sound fitted and they of were one them. I posted the link to the playlist in an earlier post.

Have to say I've not heard of about 80% of those bands, always listening out for new stuff, should imagine most of it will be the stuff I like.
Been listening to a lot of Nineteenth Floor Elevators recently, very good band.

No King Gizzard????
