Dwight Gayle just managed what must surely be the miss of the season in the Cup game against Man City. Admittedly he'd just come on, but I reckon 'Arry Rednapp's missus could have converted it with her eyes shut!

Wigan has a pier. Doesn't Manchester have a beach? (Man City are always said to have been on it when Chris Hughton engineered our last-day-of-the-season victory there in May 2013.)
 
Watford in the Championship I can see being quite effective. They've got a strong physical team, organised defence and Deeney will probably stay and be lethal in the championship. They'd lose some flair players and need goalkeepers, but not major surgery. Ironically Pearson would have been s good choice for a promotion push.

I would not think for a single minute that Forest saw that result coming, against such an inconsistent side. Almost feel a bit sorry for them
