The modern one looks more blue in the other photos. Don't like it either way, but as I said earlier I won't be indulging so I'm not that bothered.
Probably bias since I prefer Adidas generally but got to agree with that, much better than anything Reebok or New Balance came up with, not expected to like much that Nike do either (really don't like Nike stuff)
https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/new-liverpool-kit-nike-design-18696188 "The red, white and teal has been a traditional colour combination for Liverpool over the years, particularly as it relates to the traditional club crest" News to me!
Me too. Just reading on the club's website that teal is the colour that represents the city of Liverpool and is the colour of the Liver birds so (according to Nike) everyone seeing the kit will "immediately know it belongs to Liverpool".
What a load of old **** ... from the cringe slogan, to the stupid supposed design 'concept', to players obviously under contract/club and nike orders to fake enthusiasm and wax lyrical about how great it is, to the always inevitable ridiculous pricing for items that cost about as much to make as a regular bus fare
If we exclude the bits of green in the club crest, since we used that on shirts for a long time, I think that was the only home kit that ever featured green, until the brand new nike one. And if this one is a reimagining of that, or supposedly takes inspiration from it then it's incredibly unimaginative and just bland, and I don't even really like that adidas kit so I'm not even saying that's exceptional, I actually find it pretty gross
Anyway as long as the club's making a **** tonne of money out of it, in the words of vvd, who cares ?
It's online queuing I was referring to. There's an hour wait to get onto the site to place an order. It's like lockdown grocery shopping online. We sat up twice till after midnight to get a delivery slot as they were released. Got one once out of the two times and didn't bother again.
