I would prefer them to stop saying its potentially on. There's been some signs of life, but I think it's unhealthy for the fans now. It wouldn't amaze me if it reignited somewhere down the line because it wouldn't be the 1st time deals have broken down and been resurected elsewhere , but at this moment in time I'm confident that it's over.
Agree. The writer of that article is based in Saudi and the paper is sponsored by the Saudi Media authority.
Love the fact Mauriss has come sweeping in on his PR offensive, with a great plan to resurrect the club. Oh, what's that? It was invented by Qatar? And even now they're still trying to pass it off as real? Hilarious.
I suspect if true that carrot was dangled while they waited.. It would explain why they just gave up. I don't get why they just walked away and chucked away the deposit.. 17 million is still 17 million whoever you're.
The job the premier league agreed to was to sit on the deal forever an the job of th media was to create as many problems as possible to unsettle all or one side of the consortium. That bastard masters knew 17 weeks ago they were never going to pass it.
God knows.. We will never know exactly what went on But I think we all have a good idea. The haters of course want to ignore that and simply think it was all clean as a whistle no corruption involved, but I think it's fairly obvious personally even putting my emotions to one side that corruption played a part in this.
I went to Birmingham and they hate geordies there..they made no secret of it.. I was bewildered by it.. Then look on at the way collymore goes on and the celebrations from their entire fanbase when we went down... Masters is one of them.. I don't care what anyone says if you support another club this takeover was not something you want to go through.. Funnily enough villas aim is to get up there so that's have been a concern to him.. Its just another reason for him to want to fail it.
An interesting point. If he's a Villa fan he has a conflict of interest in that he'd prefer NUFC to stay weak so his beloved Villa may stay up. He's a follow in Q here... if Mark Clattenberg wasn't ever allowed to ref NUFC in the PL due to conflict... how can the same body allow a fan of a relegation favourite to lead a review into the potential strenthening or not of another relegationm favourite... This should be central to any inquiry. In an ideal world the'd get an external body to come in, pick up the PL O&D test manual and then retest the bid.
Just reading that throughout this process the reubans donated 60 plus thousand pounds to the Newcastle food banks and have posted that they will always continue donate in the proud city of Newcastle This really is sickening imagine having owners like that? Our current owner makes people give birth at work
It is criminal that the PL are given the task of assessing owners when competing interests are involved. A legal test should be delegated to an independent legal body who can look objectively.
