    Fail.

We need Trump, Scrooge McDuck and John Gotti. Then it’ll pass.

It wasn't just them... Literally the whole lot.

The top 6 were like **** we don't want them coming in and the rest were like that's one less club in the relegation battle.

you jest but we probably do need to run each takeover past them for approval first from now on. Big money might make us too competitive for them.

basically there's no point hoping for a takeover.. that's the lesson in this.

Only takeover of little consequence will be permitted.

furthermore that means it's high risk for a buyer because they know the room for growth isn't there .. what's for sale is what the club is and that's a club that makes money but at threat of relegation every year.. I don't think it's an attractive proposition.

the top halfs bought already with Everton Villa wolves being super rich now.. there's no room for anyone.

this was it for nufc and it was denied ..

Alternative thought, we pull out of the PL and move towards being an overseas franchise for the MLS.
Away days become a bit more expensive, but the journey would be fun.
Bigger audience to sell merchandise to, to make up for the shortfall in probable TV money.
We might actually finish in the top half of the table.

Or on a smaller scale ask to join the SPL, break up the Glasgow clubs dominance, probably get European football every season too.

I reckon we will see the real Joelinton next season.

He will be worse than this season’s.

the club's future is set .. as things are we might scrape through an other year or even 2 but the bigger issue is Mike still wants 300 million and nobody bar the Saudis has ever come close to meeting that and every year other clubs are bought above , above, around and below us by richer owners than Ashley. This really is outrageous when you consider what's been denied and what the effects are on the club itself. I feel angry at the premier league , but now I'm becoming angry at the Saudis.. pulling out at this stage shows they didn't care much either. They militised our fan base and now we're left with a target on our heads again

But the question is who will be in overall control.

The PL approval process now looks like:

    gain top 6 cartel approval

suck up to the press to get them onside

get so gym off from Delaney and keys.

    gain PL approval

As soon as the top clubs **** off and start that European league (the CL format this year is a tester) the better.

then that rat will come crawling back to us then.

I think you are right. In fact I think there won’t be that many major transfers outside the top few clubs. It would be great to see Willems back if he is fit but I think Bruce likes Rose. Don’t know why - he doesn’t look interested. Hopefully Schar can refind his mojo and Lejeune can have a full season.

We'll see the real Bruce too. Considerably worse than this season.

I fear for next season, the clubs long term future and even the city post brexit/covid....

Unfortunately Bruce thinks rose is better than willems and that schar isnt a cb never mind being better than our captain.

The clubs that denied nufc a place at the table for fear of losing theirs will spend big at a time they get better value.

It's really a lost cause now.. I mean every fan has had that vague hope that one day they'll win the owner lottery since the Chelsea takeover, but this week we've discovered that vague hope is no longer there.
