It shows their level of commitment to the deal tbh. I said from the off it was never right. If the Saudis wanted to buy a club they’d just wade in make an offer and buy the ****ing thing. The Staveley consortium thing dragged on for the best part of 2 years, as they haggled over the price and she cajoled the Saudis to join. That’s just not how they operate, and suggests that it was merely seen as relatively small investment that would eventually provide a decent return. So probably not the sportswashing idea that it was portrayed as, and neither was it a PSG type takeover either, ironic really when you think about it.
Sound reasoning tbf. Note the press release has not even featured KSA. I wonder how low down the PIF priority list this takeover was....
I've given up. If anything happens, great. But just expect the same ****e to carry on that we're used to
me too but there's certainly signs it's not off .. he's referring to the emails petitions etc.. pressure .. I think it's the last play before it officially collapses
I just hope people like Staveley don't let it go and expose that arsehole Masters for what he really is
I think everyone knows football's corrupt but nobody outside Newcastle minds this one. That's the thing if wasn't is we'd be wanting it stopped.. 100k needed to get government to investigate those arseholes.. it's at 22k but rising fast now.. it's shared to Saudi everywhere.. 100k seems alot still because loads are so thick they've sometimes shouting at walls but don't see the point in taking 5 seconds to sign petition. I mean Stavely actually told them.. if you want it back on do this and they ****ing aren't
What's to stop people signing it twice? I doubt it'll make a difference like but I'll get my lass and a few other people to sign it
Oh mate Firstly the 100k thing, he’d have needed to set up the petition on the Govt site and secondly 100k merely means it’d be considered for debate in the HoC. Secondly, investigate what? The Saudis have literally ****ed it off. The PL didn’t even make a decision. Investigate them taking their time to do their due diligence? You’re off your nut if you think that’s got any legs whatsoever.
Not to mention if the Leader of the House, gives it the nod, generally around half a dozen MPs and a dog turn up for the debates, with no power to act on anything. Safe to say, the MPs that would attend, will be those who wanted it stopped in any case.
What are you on about? It's just an attempt to force a response from the premier league. Suit yourself
