Just googled them see what it said, and it came up with the series which you can watch, might have a look at them.
Typical late 60's early 70's US western series very loosely based on Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, which was shown on BB2 on a Monday evening at 9pm. It was the only time I was allowed to stay up late during a school night so I could watch that, when I was about 7 or 8.
So the Wendies have been deducted 12 points next season for cooking the books. Why next season because this should have happened this season which would have put the Wendies bottom and relegated and Charlton would have been safe. Derby will get deducted at least 18 points and again it should have happened this season not next
Glad they've got the deduction, both will appeal I'm sure, and that's why it's next season, wouldn't have been done in time for this coming eason.
here are 2 strands to the charges Emu.min the case of Wednesday they got 12 points for fiddling but got found not guilty of intentionally demeaning or dishonouring the EFLboard members or some such garbage. In other words they didnt do it on purpose. Remember we got fined £200k for something like that charge. Derby will get found guilty on both counts and can be deducted up to 24 points. However these hearings and finding should have happened this season as they were brought up last season. Birmingham got done first and were deducted 9;points last season and were up again a few weeks ago and got ff with it. Derby, Wednesday should have been done months ago along with Villa who also did it big time if this had been Barnsley relegated they warned they were taking the EFL to court denouncing them for not doing Derby and the Wendies this season and meaning Barnsley would not be relegated. Maybe Charlton will sue the EFL remember how Harvey resigned and ran away really quick. It was because he was aware of these bent clubs selling their stadiums to eseles and sing the sale to balance the cooked books
I loved it as a kid too... just Pete Duel sadly committed suicide, don’t really remember the series/episodes with his replacement. Alas smith and Jones was alright too. Mel Smith, god rest his soul, had one of the best faces ever for comedy.
Pete Dual was great and whilst the show wasnt the same following his death, his replacement Roger Davis had been involved in the series from the very first episode as he was the voice over in the opening credits
Yes I remember. It didn’t really hit the same heights with his replacement. I stopped watching after a few episodes after that.
