I think they essentially said say it the KSA that own the club not PIF so they Could fail it on piracy or wont pass it or fail it. So the ****ed them having already given them assurances it would pass during negotiations...
If they have given assurances prior to exchange of contracts and payment of a deposit there may be a claim for fraudulent misrepresentation.....
An owners test and the PL got through 16 weeks before asking who the owner actually would be? What tests were they doing during that 16 weeks?
The problem is they obviously don't want to restructure the deal as the prem are demanding, so it ****ed. This is the premier leagues way of saying look it's them not us.. But they know fine ****ing well if they restructure it that way they'll fail it anyway I suspect
