It was a cartel in 1992 when it started. Worst thing to happen for competitive football in this country.
Only on a commercial level. There inference from Staveley was that they answered all the questions and the Piracy was a minor issue they didn’t even need to resolve but tried to help anyway. BeIn appeared to be playing a major part in the process, with an inside track all along, when other major stakeholders such as Sky didn’t, not a single inside track on Sky Sports News in 4 months, it doesn’t take a genius does it?
Let's be honest though it's nice knowing the aim is top 4 and basically feeling like you can win things. if you have a bad season but still have that it's only a bad season after all..
Who’s he suing? More like he’ll trouser the deposit and sell it to someone else mate. He wants rid of it imo.
They can buy us when we end up in thr championship season after next. Cheaper purchase price and no dickheads or the big 6 flapping to worry about, then we'll buy thr fizzypop league and be back in tbe big time to **** **** up!!
Knowing Ashley it could be anyone. He definitely wants rid. If it is true about other interested parties i suspect a quick sale with no publicity.
As someone whose job it used to be to draft LLPs and companies house documents I'm more than au fait with the process and reasoning behind it. You'd said that "No other owner (bin Salman) has tried to hide their identity so much by setting up an "investment fund" as a front." which is an opinion (reasons why an action has been taken which we do not know) linked with a fact (that an investment fund was used for the process). I took exception to the implication that investment funds were "fronts" when they are in fact standard operating procedure (which i then explained). I then added that the spirit of what you were saying was correct, as I'm sure you noted.
You have bought some good players and some bad. It goes to show ambition and money doesn’t always mean success. Having said that you have a lot better players than we do. Who is the most expensive flop in your team?
The interests of the club itself have been completely ignored in all this.. Its all been about the Premier league.
Post brexit newcastle could've done with the millions they were going to invest in the city! I can't help but think if it was to be invested in London the tories would have forced masters to pass it.
They have basically delayed it to the point of them saying we can’t do anything else. I’m sure it will come out in the wash but it just seems like the delay has been “influenced” and I can’t prove that but it just feels wrong. It just feels like we as a club have been seriously mistreated by the PL, the media and the other top teams if what AS is saying is true. If there was a serious issue with the ownership then the PL could easily just come out and say “we just could not approve it under the current circumstances”. Total clarity, we know why, PIF know why and everyone goes ok fair enough. This cloaks and daggers **** just makes everyone and I mean EVERYONE think there’s just something that is rotten and stinks!
It’s all been about the preservation of the other top PL clubs. They don’t want another player. It’s actually that simple.
