    This is our 3rd in three years i think? 16 weeks is rather longer than the other though, it is pretty impressive. In the main @Libby is correct, it's more about not having Ashley in charge rather than massive investment (though many got very taken up with that!), to my knowledge at least with Everton you guys never got to the point of hating your previous owner, just sort of outgrowing him.

    Oh well, all good fun.

    Many did mate, quite unfairly in my book, but they did. Imo he held on to it far too long, as he didn’t have any cash to invest in it, but he didn’t deserve the dogs abuse he got from many.
