Plan is this: we’re not gonna play our usual silky smooth.....Swansea style passing game in this one, no disregard that.....we’re gonna chuck the fugging kitchen sink at them! Patterson and Flint to lead the attack in a two pronged “up and at them” barrage on the Fulham goal! The plan is simple two goals...one off the arse and one off the todger, and win the penalty competition! They think it’s all over......:emoticon-0103-cool:

We've also finished 5th to their flukey, rely on others bottling it/get players sent off at every opportunity by going down quicker than Gary Madine's approval rating 6th place, thus making us once again Wales's Premier Team.

Im sorry but this argument is a little childish, who cares who finished were, if we don't get promoted nobody wins.

    Its hardly childish.

We finished 5th. Weve had a decent season. Theyve finished 6th below us. Decent season as well.

We move on as the number 1 side in Wales.

    Half their squad goes.

Id rather finish 5th than 15th. It does matter.

We are better than all those below us.

In league position yes but in terms of our style of football I don’t think so. Some of what we have been subject to this season has been shocking - the lack of imagination in the centre of the park at points, especially in the 2nd half against Fulham, was painful.

If Swansea weren’t set to lose half their squad (due to woeful club management) I would rather be in there boat than ours. They have a style and club ethos that has been proved to succeed at Premier League whilst ours has had two shots and failed both times.

Whilst it has improved under Harris and after lockdown, we still have a long long way to go. For all that you slate Dave Jones Hilts (and I accept the many shortcoming you highlight - lack of a Plan B, inept defending, a tendency to implode etc...) we haven’t played with a decent attacking style since he was in charge. I rarely find the games as entertaining or am invested as much with this style of football.

Getting a bit full of yourself Billy pal....don’t be a silly billy? I noticed you did rather well in the EFPL though, give you credit for that! I used to be runaway leader of that thingy...streets ahead year upon year....then experienced pangs of sympathy for less informed predictors....and would predict results that weren’t possible.....just saying! :emoticon-0103-cool:

But they are going to lose half their squad.

Give Harris a chance. The style of football has improved.

We are the 5th best side in the league. Since Harris took over we would be 4th. I believe 11 points more than Swansea over the same period and they will lose half their squad.

Is this still the match thread? <laugh>
I Have to confess that it's only now that I'm remembering the fact we have the game tonight. Such is my level of reconcilliation to another season in the Championship. Nevertheless, c'mon you Bluebirds - give it everything.

Masky woke with a giant stiffy today, normally means someone’s gonna get lucky. I believe that it could be Cardiff City...I believe we will not lose tonight......a quick goal, and pressure is on them! It’s expected that we go out tonight....so nothing to lose! :emoticon-0103-cool:
